Winter turns the harvest light
The last of Earth's bounty is wrapped up tight
Hail Great Mother to you we bow our heads
For all the paths that we now tread
Wane is the sun
of winters light
In your dimness
we seek comfort by the fires light

that keeps us warm this night
The waters grow
still as the frost king reigns
Drink we of cold
waters that are winters bane

that will come again as rain
Earth soon to
be covered in a blanket of white
Fairy forms of
ice on the trees tonight

we bow to your might
Cold the winds
blow in storm and tempest
We hold tight
to one another while the winds rage

may thy kiss be light
Hail Mother Freya
with thy spinning wheel of life
Thy dark sister
Skadi unravels it tonight
Round and round
the wheel does turn
But forever and
always does life's spirit burn
As the Mother
labors to bring forth the light
We her children
stand in the rite
Power we bare,
Power we call
To shine down
life's light we give it to all
To the beggar
in the snow we give of our bread
To the homeless
woman on the corner we give up our bed
To the sick we
give comfort, to the dead we give grace
To all of mankind
we give from this place
Healing to those
who need it
Comfort to those
who cry
Warmth and love
abound around us
We give of it
freely to all who pass by
The World has
been shattered by natures breath
We call on the
Gods to heal those bereft
Hand to hand
the power flows
Let all those
of light stand up and show
That we are one
