Earth Day 2007

We gather in the Mothers name
We gather to rebuke our Mothers bane
We gather to heal the wounds of Earth
We gather now to bless all life

Hail Great Mother Gaia
We raise our hands to thee in praise
We raise our hands in power
We raise our hands to clear away all bane

Earth of the Northern fastness
Today we summon all for thee
and bid thee welcome in the Mothers name

Air of the Eastern breezes
We summon thee to clear away
Pollution's bane

Fire of the Southern warder
We call on thee to burn away the trash
Left behind by uncaring hands

Water of the Western bastion
We summon thee to wash clean the Earth
With thy gentle rains

Hail Mighty Mother
Hear your children's plea

The Earth calls to us in need
and we your children, answer that call

Give to us your healing power
To sweep away the darkened skies

Aid us with an infusion of grace
To clean the Land at our feet

Let your sweet tears fall into our Oceans
To purify the waters

May we become at last, wise sweet Mother
and protect that which you gave us to borrow
For the Earth is not a thing we own
We are only its caretakers

Hear us, keepers of the laws of man
Never more may you make laws that hide defilers of the Earth

Hear us, keepers of the trust placed in your hands
Never more may you turn a blind eye to injustice done to the world

Hear us, keepers of all our tomorrow's
Never more may you ignore the world that we leave our children

The land feeds us, and we are poisoning it
The oceans life is faltering, for we have fouled the waters
The air is not fit to breathe for we have polluted it

Hear us Great Mother
Hear Us Dear Father
Your children see the damage done
and seek to heal what foolishness has wrought

Lend to us your power we pray thee
that we may heal the world of its pains

Earth of the Northern fastness
Today we summoned all for thee
and give all we have in the Mothers name

Air of the Eastern breezes
We summoned thee to clear away
Pollution's bane, we thank thee for thy sweet breath

Fire of the Southern warder
We called on thee to burn away the trash
Left behind by uncaring hands
We thank thee for thy healing power

Water of the Western bastion
We summoned thee to wash clean the Earth
With thy gentle rains
We thank thee for the blessed drops that fall
