Lessons of the Flowers

Softly we walk
On the dust of the pathway
Moonlight shines on every face
We gather to honor thee
We gather face to face
We gather in our unending circles grace

Hail Blessed Mother
For all your gifts we give thanks
We are honored that you hear us
When on moonlit paths we prance

Hail Blessed Father
For all your gifts we give thanks
We are honored that you hear us
When on moonlit nights we dance

Rise up and softly blow
Airs favor we would know
We honor thee in thy place

Fire light, powers might
Fires glow we would know
We honor thee in thy place

Clean are our hands, in waters embrace
Waters blessings we would know
We honor thee in thy place

For the food on our table we give thanks
Earths bounty we would know
We honor thee in thy place

Soleil, Mother of sunlight
Warm is thy embrace
Nodding heads of flowers follow thee
With eyes that shine in grace

Let us dream, like we will live forever
Lets us live, like there is no tomorrow
The flowers know, that their lives are brief
and yet give no thought to the morrow
Each in their time, greens, grows, blooms and and fades
So the cycle that is life is reborn anew in the seed
At each stage of life, they give all they have
No holding back with their needs

Let us learn to do ... as the flowers do
And let our eyes shine with the life within
Each moment is precious and never to be regained
Let summer sunlight remind us
That tomorrow, it may rain

And in that rain we will joyfully dance
Drenched in the power of Life
We will put down roots into loving soil
To bring forth the fruits of our labors
To share with all of mankind

Risen up and softly did it blow
Airs favor we did know
We thank thee for thy grace

Fire light, powers might
Fires glow we did know
We thank thee for thy grace

Clean are our hands, in waters embrace
Waters blessings we did know
We thank thee for thy grace

For the food on our table we give thanks
Earths bounty we did know
We thank thee for thy grace
