Dark of  the moon on this Samhain night
We gather in joy to create the rite
The New Year is come, as the nights grow cold
Come dance with me neath the moonlight
Let the Mother's Children be bold

Hand in hand we dance around the fires light
Hail and well met, all who come tonight

Greetings to the Dark Queen
Of the underworld bright
Touch bearer of glad tidings
We meet with thee tonight

Hail the Lord of mysteries
In your dark cloak of night
To thee all men come
To receive thy kiss of light

Bow we to the North
The womb to which we all return
Hail Dark cradle of life
We greet thee

Bow we to the East
The last breath of life, like the first, is sweet
Hail life bringer
We greet thee

Bow we to the South
The last fires of life's spark of light
Hail Creator of passion
We greet thee

Bow we to the West
Sweet blood of life that stirs again this night
Hail to the flow of all things living
We greet thee

Gather ye round , children of light
and greet those gone on, on this night of nights
Hail to our ancestors, we sup with thee by candle light
Well met in the moonlight bright
We take joy in thy presence tonight

Let the fires be lit, the sweet smell of incense upward bound
Let the wine be poured deep for the spirits abound
Let there be merriment and joy, to keep evil at bay
Tonight we seek renewal, and keep the samhain day

Cast the circle round and round
Great Mother make it tight
As not all souls that roam the mists
Between life and death, Mean us well this night
Hearken Kali, Great Mistress of shadows
Thy protection we seek for our circle tonight

The old year is gone, the new year come hither
We rededicate ourselves to the pathway's
May the Gods lean down to bear witness
By our drawn sword bright glitter

May the mistakes of the year gone past
Wither Like the autumn leaves on the trees
Dancing with the wind on the drying grass
May we forgive ourselves our own trespass

New life, re birth, on this night of the Dead
Our bodies are mortal, but we look not in dread
We raise a cup of life while we live
All that life to the service of the Goddess we give

Dance on the bones of yesterday
While ye live and do right
Take a sup of gladness
For the life ye live tonight

Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is not yet alight
Today is the only day we have for living
We rejoice in it on this Samhain night

Bow we to the North
The womb to which we all return
Hail and farewell Dark cradle of life

Bow we to the East
The last breath of life, like the first, is sweet
Hail and farewell life bringer

Bow we to the South
The last fires of life's spark of light
Hail and farewell Creator of passion

Bow we to the West
Sweet blood of life that stirs again this night
Hail and farewell to the flow of all things living
