Yule Rite, 20007

Hail the cold nights moon
Reflected sunlight shines on us tonight

The new born Sun rises
Even in the darkness
To light up all the world

Blessed is the Earth
In her blanket of white
Hear us as we call
And awaken this night

Blessed is the Wind
Cold the breezes blow
Bring to us new life this night

Blessed is the Fire
Life's warmth glows
Bring to us the hint of Sun to come

Blessed is the Water
Ice glitters on the plains
Flow gently back to Earth, we ask it

Merry the Yule log burns
Up the chimney goes all the years woes
Holly graces the halls
Mistletoe is hung with care
On this day we greet the new born Sun

Dance we on this night of nights
Around the tree all aglitter
Hung round with apples bright
Gifts of life to our loved ones tonight

Bright the faces of the Children
Our hopes for all of our tomorrow's
Rest in their eyes

Short is the day
but we spent it well
Oaths of dedication we speak
for only the Gods to hear
Raised up to the new Suns glory
Reflected in the moonlight so dear

Hail Frey, God of my Fathers
Ye who bring new life to the Land
Arises the New born Sun in your eyes

Hail my Lord Thor, defender of Midgard
Weld well your mighty hammer
And beat back the frost of winter

Hail My Lady Sunna
Great Mother of spring time yet to be
Hear us Great Mother and awaken to life

Tonight, as we hang between winter and spring
On a thread of starlight, we pin our hopes
Shining lights, reflect in our eyes
As we sing out our wishes for Peace on Earth

Glory to the Heavens grace
As we offer up our hearts
Peoples of all Nations
Raise up their voices tonight
With only one language
And the language is Love

Blessed is the Earth
In her blanket of white
She Heard us as we called
And awakened this night

Blessed is the Wind
Cold the breezes blew
They brought to us new life this night

Blessed is the Fire
Life's warmth glowed
Brought  to us the hint of Sun to come

Blessed is the Water
Ice that glittered on the plains
Flowing gently back to Earth
