Hail
Gaia, Earth Mother
We
feel your pain in the air
Raging
fires have stripped your face
And
laid the land bare
Hail
Brother Fire
To
thee I place no blame
Hail
thou the conflagration
That
though the land has raged
Hail
Sister Water
To
thee I place no blame
Bring
to us light rains
To
green the land again
Hail
Mother Earth
For
thee I give spiritual gain
We
send healing to your bosom
To
heal the land again
Hail
Father Winds
To
thee I place no blame
Still
the winds that stress the land
Please
quiet now the storms bane
Flames
flew over the land
To
lay the Mothers bosom bare
The
animals died in numbers untold
While
man fought the flames with care
On
the night wind, we hear the land moan
In
pain for all that its lost
We
send to Earth healing energy
To
heal her, no matter the cost
We
feel the spirit of all the animals
Those
not fast enough to flee
In
their 1000s they died
We
gather now to set their sprits free
We
bow our heads in sorrow
For
the human lives we have lost
For
all the homes that have been rendered
Down
to ash and dust
We
send healing to all those
Who
took hurt for all our sakes
To
the brave men and women
Who
stand between us and the fires wake
We
send glad tidings
To
all who have given of themselves
To
heal the losses of their fellow man
May
Mothers blessings be on them all
Gather
we know a great force of light
And
send it over the lands plight
To
restore what the fire took away
To
replace it with greening growth
Hail
Brother Fire
To
thee I give thanks this day
For
halting the conflagration
That
though the land has raged
Hail
Sister Water
To
thee I give thanks this day
For
Bringing to us light rains
To
green the land again
Hail
Mother Earth
For
thee I give spiritual gain
We
sent healing to your bosom
To
heal the land again
Hail
Father Winds
To
thee I give thanks this day
Stilled
are the winds that stressed the land
Quiet
now is the storms bane
